COMPENSATION FOR TICKETS TO CULTURAL PERFORMANCES
A member of the Estonian Ballet Union has the right to apply for compensation for tickets to cultural performances.
Cultural performances include dance, drama, music, and theatre performances and film screenings, symphony concerts, etc. Tickets for pop music concerts are not subject to compensation.
Only the ticket needs to be submitted with the name of the applicant applying for the compensation and the bank account number on the back, no application is needed. The tickets can be submitted every month until the 10th date.
The amount of the compensation depends of the ticket price:
a ticket with a price of up to €10 – 100% compensation;
a ticket with a price of €10,01–€30 – 60% compensation. ;
a ticket with a price of €30,01 or more – the amount of compensation is decided by the management board.
The management board has the right to decide the amount to be compensated based on the financial possibilities each quarter.
Procedure for applying for the compensation for tickets to cultural performances
The management board examines the tickets submitted every month after the 10th.
Tickets with a price of up to €30 are compensated by no later than within 30 working days after the submission of the ticket.
After having examined the tickets submitted (price over €30), all applicants are sent a written reply on the satisfaction or refusal to satisfy the ticket compensation application by no later than within 30 working days after the submission of the application.
Upon refusal to satisfy the application for ticket compensation, the management board gives reasons therefor in writing.
