Laura Maya Receives Klaudia Maldutis Award

The Klaudia Maldutis artistic scholarship and award was receives by Estonian National Ballet soloist Laura Maya!
Laura has worked in numerous theaters including Royal Ballet of Flanders, Landestheater Linz, Bayerisches Staatsballett. She joined Estonian National Ballet in 2018 and from the year 2020 is a soloist. Laura Maya has received many awards - Biarritz International Classical Dance Competition (2021) a bronze medal, at Tanzolymp competition in Berlin she received IV prize and scholarships to Munich Ballet Academy, Goh Ballet Academy (Vancouver) and to Washington Ballet courses (2014). She received a special prize at the Royal Ballet summer courses in 2012, 2013 and 2014.In 2020 she was a nominee in Estonian Theater Awards in ballet category for the role of Alice in G. Schiavoni ballet "Alice in Wonderland", for main role in Prokofyev´s "Rome and Juliet" and for the role of Stella in Meckler/ Ochoa/ Salem ballet "A Streetcar Named Desire".
