The nominees of Estonian Theater Awards have been announced

March is the month of the theatre. The nominees for the Estonian theatre awards have been announced. The prizes will be handed over on the International Theatre Day, March 27 at the Narva Vaba Lava.

Ballet Award

(Judges: Anu Ruusma (chairman), Eve Andre-Tuga, Viesturs Jansons, Eve Mutso-Oja, Agnes Oaks)


  • Anna Roberta - Medora in "Le Corsaire", Lydia in "Twilight Houses", Daughter in "Kratt", Snow Queen in "The Nutcracker" (all Estonian National Ballet) and for role in "Flesh" (Narva Ooperipäevad)
  • Andrea Fabbri - main role in "Louis XIV- The Sun King", Dachhausen in "Twilight Houses" and for Birbanto in "Le Corsaire" (all Estonian National Ballet"
  • Ketlin Oja - Snow White in "Snow White and The 7 Dwarves", Fastrade in "Twilight Houses" and Gulnare "Le Corsaire" (all Estonian National Ballet)
  • Madeline Skelly - Lydia in "Twilight Houses" and Nikia in "La Bayadere" (both Estonian National Ballet)
  • Yukiko Yanagi - Flora, Firebird in "Firebird" and Snow Queen in "The Nutcracker - A Miraculous Christmas Eve" (both Vanemuine Theater)
For the children's theatre prize named after Reet Neimar is nominated the staff of "Carnival of the Animals" (Estonian National Opera): Marina Kesler, Jaan Ots, Reili Evart, Rasmus Rembel and Tuuli Potik.
